Keith Jack Large Lion Rampant Sterling Silver and 10K Yellow Gold Ring

The Lion Rampant is a medieval Scottish symbol that dates back to 1222. According to legend, “William the Lion” was the first to hold this symbol up high in a yellow and red banner.

Scots would from then on use the symbol in their shields, flags, and coat of arms. The Lion Rampant identified Scottish troops during the Anglo-Scottish wars (14th to the 16th century) and was a symbol of honor for the army.

To this day you find the symbol raised high at Holyrood Palace, in Scottish castles, and by fans in football matches.
